Sci-Fi in Bible stories?

All over the world we see depictions of beings that appear to be otherworldy. In cave paintings,carvings, structures tomb artifacts, petroglyphs dating from thousands of years ago there are images of other unusual beings and spaceship like structures Did out ancestors see something significant? If one believes that this is so, then why is it so hard to believe that stories in the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, etc, COULD BE TRUE? (ie: What was The Wheel that Ezekiel saw? )
