Social anxiety disorder can be treated?

Iam 23 year old male.Iam working in kuwait.Iam having social anxiety disorder since the last 3-4 years.Its so hurts me.i cant live with this..I was searching for a psychologist to treat my decease.At last i found one therapist in my area.Thank god.Friends i want to know,is this illness really treatable?Pleaes please let me know guys.thanks in advance!!.Iam so hopefull now.Because i found one who give me the treatment for this?
