My guinea pig died, should I get my other one a new mate?

well ifyour other g.pig seems healthy then sure..the only advice i would give is that make sure it isnt some disease thats contagious that caused the stroke.. because if you other g pig has it it would give it to the new one.. then you will have three dead g pigs. But if its been that long.. and she seems healthy then sure
