New nuclear bomb production by us?

last year i heard pentagon decided to product new race of nuclear bombes which will be smaller and instead have more applicability ,what do you ppl think about it? they used shots with weakened uraniom before of it in 1st war with iraq .will they use new race of nuclear bombes in other place?isnt it treatening for humans life?
