Do the prac and report your data. You may have trouble with keeping the length constant as you add m so use a lon so that the thickness of the m you add does not affect the length too much. Long length also makes the pendulum slower so it is easier to measure the period. Measure the time for 10 full back and forth swings and divide by 10 to get a good value for the period. There is a very slight dependence of period on amplitude. The period is depends on the length.
